What is CLA?
CLA is often referred to as the “good fat” that we need in our bodies. It is mainly found in the meat and dairy products of herbivorous animals.
The reason this is generating so much interest is that the results of clinical studies have shown that: CLA actually reduces body fat in overweight people while maintaining muscle tissue.
It has also been found that CLA increases metabolism, reduces belly fat, and can improve muscle growth.
Conjugated Linoleic acid also lowers cholesterol, and triglycerides, and improves the immune system; which everyone can take advantage of.
The fact that these acids increase metabolism is a very interesting finding, especially for many people suffering from thyroid problems such as hypothyroidism.
Thyroid problems can also be the culprit for an enlarged belly. So again, CLA can solve a lot of problems in that area.
CLA is much more common in herbivores than in grain-fed animals.
Importantly, if you decide to take CLA supplements, you’ll be getting one that provides at least 3400 milligrams per day, which is the amount that will be effective.
So CLA really seems to be a miracle to some people. However, you can’t lose weight simply by getting the recommended daily amount of CLA.
Using it in conjunction with healthy eating, and sleeping habits and regular exercise is the most effective way to lose your “bad fat”.
Try to drink plenty of water, eat plenty of fruits and vegetables (especially the lightest ones). Whole grains, and Omega-3 fatty acids (from oily fish, nuts, and seeds) every day.
Also, don’t skip meals and make sure you get enough sleep. Skipping meals can be counterproductive, and studies have shown that people who don’t get enough sleep tend to be hungrier and overweight.
The combination of a daily dose of conjugated linoleic acid, healthy eating habits, and exercise will help you get the results you want.
What does CLA do for your body?
Some of the benefits of CLA for the body:
CLA triggers fat cell death, shrinks fat cells, it speeds up metabolism to promote weight loss.
CLA prevents some viral infections.
CLA has also prevent atherosclerosis.
Is CLA good for weight loss?
The answer is “yes”. CLA can help you lose weight even if you don’t diet and exercise.
However, if you do not diet and exercise, the weight loss effect of CLA is quite modest.
You can only lose 9% of your body fat in 1 year if you only take CLA for weight loss.
Combining the use of CLA with diet and exercise will help your weight loss process be fast and the results are sure.
Does CLA work for belly fat?
Yes! Just like green tea, CLA is especially effective for getting rid of stubborn belly fat.
CLA activates the process of destroying fat cells, shrinking fat tissues, increasing metabolism to burn fat more efficiently.
Is CLA safe to take everyday?
Studies on CLA have generally used doses of 3.2–6.4 grams per day for weight loss. Evidence suggests it doesn’t cause any serious adverse effects at doses up to 6 grams per day, but higher doses increase the risks.
